About Allie
Who I am
I am an elite high-altitude mountaineer with more than two decades of experience climbing in the world’s most extreme environments.
I have accumulated twelve summits on the world’s 8000-metre peaks, including multiple ascents without supplemental oxygen. I am currently undertaking a four-year mission to climb all fourteen 8000-metre peaks without oxygen.
My work sits at the intersection of performance, leadership, and long-term commitment. I am known for my abillity to operate under sustained pressure, make decisions in complex environments, and return repeatedly to high consequence situations with clarity and intention.
My Mountaineering Career
I began mountaineering in 2000 and have climbed extensively across the Himalaya, Karakoram, Andes, Alps, New Zealand, Canada, and the United States.
Over the course of my career, I have led expeditions, guided clients, and worked closely with some of the most experienced climbers and mountain professionals in the world.
In recent years, my focus has shifted toward high-altitude mountaineering without supplement oxygen. The requires a different relationship with risk, preparation, patience, and self awareness. It is slower, more deliberate, and deeply demanding.
My approach is methodical, grounded in experience, and built on long-term resilience rather than short-term results.
Beyond the Mountains
The mountains have shaped how I live and lead. They are where leadership, responsibility, and values are tested in real time.
I have navigated significant personal change alongside my climbing career, including rebuilding my life after setbacks and redefining what success looks like in the second half of life.
These experiences inform how I approach challenge, responsibility, and growth, both on and off the mountain.
